The Money Compatibility Quiz

The Money Compatibility Quiz

How well do you and your partner agree on key money issues?  This test is not designed to test your personal opinion but rather to what degree your opinions match your partner’s.  The questions cover the key dimensions of our relationship with money: control, sufficiency, value, entitlement communication, gratification, debt, spending, risk and influence.

Instructions:

  1. Read the statement.

  2. Then ask yourself to what extent your partner would agree with your opinion

  3. Check the button that indicates how close you and your partner would agree with your opinion…we share the same opinion to we don’t share the same opinion.

Example:

Statement: Playing the lottery every week will make us rich.
We do not share the same opinion  We share the same opinion completely

You like to play the lottery so you would say “yes.”  Your partner doesn’t think the lottery is worthwhile so they would say “no.”  You don’t agree at all so you check the first button closest to “We do not share the same opinion.”
